You Owe it to Yourself to Consider the 2018 Kia Sportage SUV

One of the automotive experts at Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com recently took a look at the new Kia Sportage, observing that the SUV has received a host of updates that keep it competitive in a ever-more-crowded field of compact and subcompact SUVs. The expert also pointed out that Sportage buyers will be pleased with the vehicle's compelling offers of design, standard and available features and safety technologies -- not to mention Kia's excellent warranty.

Thanks to a well-considered layout and thoughtfully-placed storage spaces, the cabin is a comfortable oasis that's packed with such standard features as a5-inch touchscreen display, a 6-speaker radio with USB input and Bluetooth connectivity and a rearview camera.

The 2018 Sportage features a choice of three trim levels and two engines that power standard front-wheel or available all-wheel drive. LX and EX models come with a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that joins with a 6-speed automatic transmission to manufacture 181 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque; upgrade to the SX Turbo trim and you'll find a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine that pairs with the 6-speed automatic transmission to crank out 240 horsepower and 260-pound feet of torque.

All 2018 Sportage trims feature a drive-mode selector that lets you choose between Sport, Normal and Eco settings to suit your particular mood and driving style.
